About the Seafood Festival
Attended by almost 30,000 people each year, the Seafood Festival is a major part of the Blessing of the Fleet Festival event. It runs Thursday through Saturday (please see the festival hours listed above).
Here you will find food, offered by the Narragansett Lions Club as well as other food vendors, games, rides, our famous beer tent (we also have wine), plus live music performed by popular local bands. .

About the 10 Mile Road Race
The annual Blessing of the Fleet 10-Mile Road Race is the highlight of this 3-day event surrounding the famous Blessing of the Fleet in Galilee, RI. Runners, walkers, and wheelchair entrants compete on the scenic course that covers 10 miles. Winding its way through historic Narragansett, it is officially sanctioned and listed as one of the top three races of its distance in New England.
More than 3,100 people competed in 2017, hailing from all over New England, across the country, and even around the world. The race's finish line is by The Towers in Narragansett, next to the Atlantic Ocean and Veterans Memorial Park, the site of the Blessing of the Fleet Seafood Festival. All race participants receive official Blessing of the Fleet t-shirts.

About the Blessing of the Fleet
The 47th Blessing of the Fleet celebration continues at Salty Brine State Beach with the parade of boats receiving the blessing by Rev. Francis P. Kayatta starting at 12:00PM. Prior to the parade, there will be a few informational events being displayed in the beach parking lot adjacent to the breachway. This will start at 8:30AM, and will include walking tours, seafood displays, fishing & lobster videos, net mending, and more.
Come on down and get hooked with fun and knowledge about the Port of Galilee, the fishing industry, and the fleet who call this port home.
