Pilgrim Title is an attorney owned and managed closing, title & escrow company. Real Estate is our only business. Our staff of seasoned real estate attorneys, experienced paralegals and veteran title examiners is dedicated to assisting our customers on real estate matters throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.*

We assist Buyers and Sellers of real estate from the Offer through the Closing. Our real estate attorneys review the Offer and the Purchase & Sale Agreement, answer pre-closing questions, deliver accurate and timely title search services, coordinate with realtors, attorneys and other real estate professionals, resolve pre-closing title problems and work diligently in an effort to ensure a smooth Closing. We urge Buyers to request Pilgrim Title for title and closing services during the mortgage application process in order to ensure a smooth and professional closing.

At Pilgrim Title, we assist a variety of lending institutions and professionals, including Banks, Credit Unions, Mortgage Brokers and Private Lenders in connection with all aspects of real estate based lending. We offer the broadest range of quality, cost-competitive real estate settlement and escrow services, priding ourselves on professionalism and accuracy. Our office locations are centrally located in Providence and Cumberland, Rhode Island and Newton, Massachusetts.* Upon request, Pilgrim Title will conduct refinance closings at the Borrower’s home or office at a time convenient to the Borrower, including evening and weekend closings.

Pilgrim Title has developed a niche business serving as title counsel to other attorneys in Rhode Island and Massachusetts in connection with residential real estate transactions. We assist other attorneys who practice real estate law only on occasion, and thus, need special assistance from the due diligence phase of the transaction through the Closing. We perform title searches on complicated titles, analyze title abstracts, resolve complex title problems and underwrite the title insurance. Pilgrim Title is always available to assist other attorneys in the effort to ensure that their clients receive the best possible counsel on all real estate matters.
