Jake Parris Pilgrim Title Attorney

Jake Parris

Jake Parris focuses on real estate conveyancing, land use issues, foreclosure law, real estate tax issues, title clearing matters and title insurance underwriting. Jake also advises financial institutions on commercial lending matters, and assists clients in both residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Jake earned his B.A in International Relations from Tulane University and his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Paul J. Dias Pilgrim Title Attorney

Paul J. Dias

Paul J. Dias focuses on residential real estate conveyancing, residential real estate loan closing and title insurance underwriting. He has extensive experience in these areas and has actively and effectively assisted buyers, sellers and investors in real estate transactions.

Paul is a present and active member of the Committee on Title Standards and Practices of the Rhode Island Bar Association. Paul is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. He received his B.A. from the University of Rhode Island and his J.D. from Vermont Law School.

John W Montalbano Pilgrim Title Attorney

John W. Montalbano

John W. Montalbano has been conducting real estate closings for over forty-five years. John was legal counsel for a national title insurer performing closings and acting as a title insurance underwriter for many years. In addition to being Senior Counsel at Pilgrim Title, he is also currently a Professor of Law at Community College of Rhode Island teaching Law in their Criminal Justice and Paralegal Program.

John earned his BA in Economics from Boston College and his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Rhode Island, The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and before the United States Supreme Court.

Daniel C. Baruti Pilgrim Title Attorney

Daniel C. Baruti

Daniel joined Pilgrim Title Insurance Company in 2019. Focusing his practice on real estate law, he has represented buyers, sellers and lending institutions in residential and commercial transactions for over 22 years. In addition to real estate, Daniel also represents clients in residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters, probate and civil litigation.

A former law enforcement officer, retiring highly decorated after 23 years of service, he currently serves as a member of the Town of Hopkinton Zoning Board of Review.

He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Salve Regina University in 1995 and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Roger Williams University School of Law in 1999. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and manages our Wakefield office.

Sandra Berardo Pilgrim Title Attorney

Sandra Berardo

Sandra Berardo concentrates in residential real estate conveyancing and closings, with extensive experience representing buyers, sellers, and lenders. She also handles title insurance-related matters.

Sandi received a B.A. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross, an M.S.T. (Master of Science in Taxation) from Northeastern University, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. She is admitted to practice in Rhode Island.
